Quest Youth Development Programs

Our youth programs offer a variety of activities and events to keep youth engaged, active, and learning. We provide a safe and supportive environment for youth to grow and develop their skills and interests.  Quest Youth Development (QYD) also provides direct service programs for youth failing to meet competency scores and needing to obtain the OhioMeansJobs Readiness Seal for graduation. Youth are identified and referred by school guidance counselors, teachers, principals, juvenile detention center administrators, and parents/guardians.  Youth must be registered before signing up for programs. 

Our volunteers are more than just mentors, they are direct service professionals. We provide a range of resources and support to help youth navigate the challenges of growing up. We know that mental health is an important part of overall wellness. That's why we offer a range of holistic mental health services, including mentoring and support groups, to help youth navigate life's challenges.

Need help with homework, missing assignments, study habits, struggling to pass test and quizzes?  Our direct service professionals work directly with teachers and guidance counselors to better support youth so they can create an educational plan that guides them towards graduation success. 

Quest's leadership programs are led by our volunteer direct service professionals and peer-to-peer youth specialist. Youth learn  leadership skills by putting them in charge of developing programs and improving the culture of Quest Youth Development.

Jobseekers Network provides a long term career development program that sets youth up for success. The training is not solely based on aptitude but also personality. Youth are provided full cycle recruitment services that will help them early on as freshman in high school.  As freshman, youth learn to think about high school courses that can lead them to a career field that fit their true gifts and talents.  Youth are also provided opportunities to develop hands on work skills that can lead up to jobs and internships while still in high school.
